Especially in the 2010s, Natural Gas Combined Cycle Power Plants had become quite popular in Turkey. During these years, many projects were implemented to renew the newly established power plants and existing power plants with up-to-date technologies. Teknokon has been involved in various stages of all power plants above 400MW capacity in Turkey since 2010. They also had the opportunity to work with reputable customers such as GE-Gama Consortium and Zorlu Energy on power plant projects in Russia, Shatura, Surgut and Moscow. However, a successful collaboration with Hitachi Zosen and Makyol has been carried out at the Waste Incineration and Power Generation Plant, which was built in Istanbul and is the largest of its kind in Europe.
In today’s thermal power plants are used industrial boilers in many facilities that need steam such as solid waste incineration and power generation facilities, chemical process industry, food industry.
